DPMI participants,
The Inkling site is open and ready for trading. Note: The teams' three ideas from Week II have been added to the market.
Instructions for the market:
1.) You must go to
http://pact.inklingmarkets.com/ to sign up and begin trading. This site offers step-by-step instructions for creating an account.
2.) Each participant will begin with $5,000 "play" money with which to make trades.
3.) Participants are encouraged to pose questions, submit answers, and provide information that bolsters their case. You can use the discussion space on the market website (and post links to the market on the wiki!) or direct your fellow traders to the DPMI wiki from the market. It is important that you make sure your trading comments are visible on the wiki (see Inklings Market page on Week II of wiki).
4.) Prizes!!! The top two traders will receive a copy of "The Wisdom of Crowds" by James Surowiecki or "How Breakthrough Happens" by Andrew Hargadon.
Hint: It's important that after you make your trades, you keep checking into both the market and the wiki to make sure you're on top of new information. The market will react to the news, and those traders who are quickest to spot trends will see the greatest returns on their investments.
