Deliverables for this week include the following:
1 Results Framework for a project that is appropriate to your assigned country.
1 set of indicator sheets (partially completed per instructions) to accompany your Results Framework
1 Logical Framework Matrix for a project that is appropriate to your assigned country
1 CMap Tools depiction of the key aspects of development
Deliverables should be presented in your own individual Zoho Notebook.
Sign up for a Zoho Notebook account here.
View an instructional video on how to use Zoho Notebook on YouTube. You can also read an interesting article on Zoho Notebook (and see an abbreviated version of the video) at TechCrunch. Another interesting (but lengthy) presentation on Notebook and other Zoho Suite resources can be viewed at this site.
Once you have signed up for your Zoho Notebook account, please be sure to make access to it public. Go to the Zoho Notebook page in this wiki, and share the URL of your notebook. This will help us create a truly collaborative learning community. Be sure to save the wiki page after you've entered your information.
The pages in your Notebook need not be uniquely your work. When you are working on team projects (e.g., the Logical Framework Matrix or the Results Framework), you may present the work you did with other team members. You are, however, free to improve or enhance the group's product so that you have a portfolio of which you can be extremely proud.

Other Important Information:
DPMI academic credit for MIIS students: either 4 or 6 units (based on individual's preference) upon completion of development philosophy and submission of portfolio with deliverables approved by each module instructor.
DPMI Plus opportunities for MIIS students: an addition six units can be earned for fieldwork associated with DPMI. Each fieldwork assignment is associated with a negotiated set of deliverables that involve the practical application of DPMI tools, skills, and concepts.
All DPMI participants will receive, upon satisfactory completion of DPMI requirements, a certificate of participation. In order to receive the certificate, all students must submit a 3-5 page paper detailing their development philosophy. This paper is due 3 months after completion of the last DPMI class meeting. No certificates or academic credit will be awarded until this paper is submitted.
All DPMI credit is offered on a pass-fail basis. No letter grades will be given.
Students who are not currently enrolled in MIIS may receive academic credit for their DPMI participation upon payment of proper tuition. These credits may be applied toward a MIIS degree should the student subsequently enroll at the Institute, or may be transferred to another institution.
